Pics of the Day

Fall is in the air, and on some mornings, it feels like the 'first day of school'. The Mexican sage is blooming, so I'm hoping for some fall pics in the sage. For now, the zinnias are fading.

At the office, this female Ruby-throated takes care of an itch while guarding the feeders.

Our 'super-sonic Ruby-throated' in the declining light of the day.

That zinnia is on its 'last leg'!

There's a full throat of ruby!

This pose makes me think of the Cherubim with outstretched wings over the
Mercy Seat of the Ark!

 Office feeders mid-day.

Glorious creature!
