A rainy, cloudy Saturday didn't do much for catching those hummers in mid-flight, but that doesn't mean they weren't active in the garden. Ruby and Black-chinned did a lot of perching and flashing.
The White-crowned Sparrows still hanging with us.
Black-chinned flashing me a little purple.
Caught Ruby in the waning Lady Banks Rose, lookin' the other way.
Tryin' to catch all five of them in one pic.
Proof that he doesn't need sunlight to make that throat glow!
Are YOU lookin' at ME?
All the rain is making the Carolina Jessamine put on another bloom.
And Ruby likes it.
