Got home early enough to catch a few shots in the waning light. And caught the Yellow crowned Night Heron in the early morning light. It was a great day.
Always a treat when one of the pond birds lands up close to our side of the pond. This Yellow crowned Night Heron was demonstrating his balance.
Then he took off toward the big tree that came down with the tornado.
Obviously very comfortable with that one-legged stance.
Then late day this little fellow was really after the zinnias, and provided a lot of camera time.
Note she is sitting on the petal, and not bending it.
Just a whole lot of fun watching the hummers.
